Normanhurst

Grove Hill, Brighton
Client: Brighton & Hove City Council
Status: On site

Normanhurst Tower is a 12 storey residential block in central Brighton housing 45 flats with 2 storage rooms on the ground floor. Yelo Architects have been commissioned by Brighton & Hove Council to redevelop unused space on the ground floor to provide two new apartments and improve the surrounding external areas which are currently unsafe and underutilised. Both of the apartments will be allocated as affordable housing.

The existing storage space will be transformed into two 2 bedroom flats which will feature a spacious open plan living space, ample storage space, a wet room, and private access to the newly renovated outdoor area through patio doors. All living areas will have full height windows to maximise natural light into the residences.
