We were joined last week by Year 10 student Abigail, who was with us on work experience. Throughout the week Abigail worked with our Design team on a 2 storey extension project, during which she drew up plans in AutoCAD, created a physical model, modelled the exterior and interior of the building in SketchUp, and produced multiple facade designs in Photoshop. An impressive amount of work, and all while learning and using each program for the first time!

After getting a taste of working in an architectural practice it was extremely encouraging to hear of Abigail’s intentions to pursue architecture at university and beyond, she certainly has the aptitude for it.
